I need to VENT Our feelings are hurt newbirthmbc jamalhbryant My kool Kidz have been practicing and preparing for this performance. Everything that’s we do is very appropriate and tasteful . We performed at New Birth church before and we never had to go through this.  I was up since 6am excited about worshiping the Lord through our stepping. Just to arrive and be turned around. We was told to arrive at 9am then at 11pm last night was told to come at 8:30am. We walked in the doors at 8:30am. We was told to go to a room and the lady stated she’s going to get someone to talk to someone because we are late. Im like no we are on time. So the guy gave use the wrong time. As we are practicing the lady tell us we can’t perform. So now I have to tell all the parents and kool kids that we showed up for no reason. Can we show yall the 2 mins show. She’s said no, I stated is there anyone else I can talk to, no because she’s the person over that department. We stay for an extra hour trying to see what we can do to perform and or to see if they will change their minds. In this video at this point, I just asked my daughter to walk with me so I can let it out. I had to cry. I do not like disappointing the girls or the parents. I never felt like this. This is definitely a new core memory in my mind… these kool kids worked very hard. .. but to have them crying and me crying was the most embarrassing and empty feeling I’ve ever felt. Then I ask will we at least still receive our booking fee For showing up? I was left on read.  I felt that they did not care. My organization is very well known and even the people in the church knew us and was excited for us to perform just for all of us to be disappointed. I never do any post like this our supporters family, and friends know that I mind my business and make it all about the girls. Today was the worst SUNDAY EVER. Thanks to my daughter Nyala for allowing me to let it out and pray for me. I have the best daughter in the world.
