Today is the last LA Sparks home game of the season. I’m so proud of the season we have had and the content we have created and the stories we have told, but I’m SO sad that it’s ending (for now). When I say this is my dream job, it’s quite literally a dream I get to live every single time I walk into that arena. Every time I stand in that tunnel and photograph the team, every time we chat about their off day plans, their outfits, their recovery, their families… Everytime they ask my about my children, or compliment my shoes, or pull me into a photo— I am just so BEYOND grateful for the privilege of being in this space. Everytime I step onto the court, or into the locker room I am humbled by the privilege I have of getting to tell just a small piece of their stories. Everytime the doors open and the fans fill the arena, I’m thankful that I have a front row seat to the way these incredible women are changing the game and changing the league and making history. Thank you so much to everyone at the Sparks— the staff, coaching staff, trainers and players. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me into your lives in this way. Thank you to our content team for making every single day of work an absolute joy. I’m grateful to call you friends. Thank you to the photographers and videographers who have filled in and come on this ride with us. I’m truly better at what I do because of every single one of you.
