“It’s a great night because we bring terrific people together in support of Canisius High School and our Jesuit mission, as GAMBIT has been doing for 50 years,” President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J., told the audience at GAMBIT 50.

“Just think of the impact over the years that this gathering has had on the young men of Canisius High School.”

The golden anniversary of our annual blue-and-gold auction fundraiser gala was another tremendous success thanks – once again – to our outstanding CHS community.

An amazing Saturday evening ended with the hundreds in attendance hearing students’ stories and then raising their paddles for the GAMBIT 50 Jesuit Promise Fund, which provides much-needed assistance to our students.

Our utmost thanks to all of the many canisiushs_gambit sponsors, gift donors and volunteers for making GAMBIT 50 possible.

We are grateful to our GAMBIT Co-Chairs for their leadership and dedication to this year’s golden celebration: David ’87 and Laura Gioia (parents of Eric Gioia ’25); Mike ’96 and Susan Mineo (parents of Andrew Mineo ’25); Tom and Liz Sheehan (parents of Tommy Sheehan ’25).

More memorable moments and images from the big night are coming soon, including those students’ stories.
