This exceptional 1974 Ferrari 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer is one of only 58 right-hand-drive examples built for the UK market. Delivered new to legendary musician Eric Clapton on Christmas Eve 1974, the car was originally finished in Argento Auteuil over black hide. After an accident early in its life, the Ferrari was repaired, repainted red, and has remained under the same ownership for the past 50 years. Notably, the damaged car was featured in the inside-cover artwork of Clapton’s 1977 album Slowhand, further cementing its place in rock history.⁠

Now offered from a deceased estate, this Ferrari remains remarkably original, retaining its matching chassis, engine, gearbox, and clamshell numbers. With just 14,900 miles from new, it has spent much of its life carefully stored, even residing in its owner’s kitchen. Recently serviced with a cam belt replacement, it will require a proper shakedown before returning to the road.
