How did Overtime turn high school highlights into a $500 million sports empire? 

It all started with just a couple of YouTube videos..

Back in 2016, the only time you'd see high school stars on TV was if they made it to March Madness.

So two guys started filming games on their phones. 

But they weren't just filming highlights.. they captured the personalities, the reactions, and culture around the game.

This wasn't SportsCenter, it was something new.

Then they found this kid in South Carolina destroying everyone he played against…

Zion Williamson.

Their videos of Zion broke the internet - music matched to every dunk, crowd going crazy, personality off the charts.

Soon, Overtime had 100 million followers. More than 25 NBA teams combined. 

NBA stars started showing up to their games. 

Drake and Bezos invested millions.

These high school players were generating millions of views and building huge followings. 

But once they got to college, they couldn’t get paid. Not even from their own highlights.

So Overtime did something wild.

They built pro training facilities in Atlanta, created their own league, and started paying players $100K to skip college completely. 

People said they were crazy.

Until the Thompson twins went #4 and #5 in the NBA draft.
 
Straight from Overtime to the league.

This proved you didn't need to go to college and posed a serious threat to the way the NCAA handled compensating players.

They finally caved with NIL deals, but when you think about it, athletes should be getting paid even more.

They generate more revenue for the schools during their playing years than most students will in their entire careers combined.

It’s a start though, and Overtime helped get it done.
