## Caption

E Train Talks started as a way for me to connect to the outside world during Covid-19. I attended virtual library book clubs and reviewed books on my podcast. It was also during Covid that I learned about book deserts and about low early literacy rates. Although I was only ten years old, I decided I wanted to do something, so I stated interviewing authors and sharing more book reviews, but I wanted to do more, so with the help of my parents, I founded E Train Talks, Inc. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit. My nonprofit is small, but its heart is big. My mission is to inspire a love of stories in as many children as I can. Books change lives and having the ability to read is necessary for all paths. If I can inspire even one child to pick up a book and read or motivate children to want to learn to read, then I know my journey has been worth it. So I ask you to remember that all journeys in life start with the ability to read, to be literate. 
Astronauts, conservationists, teachers, firefighters, singers, journalists, doctors, electricians, engineers, actors, activists, authors, therapists, photographers, musicians, police officers…. the list goes on! Literacy Matters! Our future depends on it! Support literacy.
