In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re spotlighting the powerful women who are shaping FAMU’s legacy—one stride at a time.

Meet our next #QueensOfTheHill feature: Nya Blocker, a health information and informatics scholar from Bainbridge, Georgia. A fierce competitor on and off the track, Nya is a two-time SWAC Champion. She recently took home first place in the 60 meter and 200 meter race at last month’s SWAC Championship Track Meet. She is now the 200 meter SWAC record holder.
