Color Of Change is demanding body autonomy for everyone in our community, and we’re actively fighting against systems that seek to control, suppress, and confine us. Georgia is ground zero for the right-wing assault on reproductive rights and abortion access, which is why our #LiberatedBodies campaign has been an ongoing priority. 

While Color Of Change has been challenging prosecutors who criminalize Black people for their pregnancy decisions, MAGA extremists in Georgia are using taxpayer dollars to trick people seeking care into listening to anti-abortion ideologies. The government funds fake clinics that pose as abortion providers, in which visitors are subject to medically inaccurate claims, delays in care, and coercion. These unlicensed, unregulated facilities do not provide real medical care, and because they are unbound by healthcare laws like HIPAA, they are not required to provide factual, unbiased information.

This is deception. That’s why Color Of Change is supporting three bills meant to prohibit false medical advertising, end the misuse of public funds, and redirect tax dollars into helpful family planning programs for Georgians. But we need your help to get state support.
