Every day this week, we are focusing on building our “mobilization toolkit” with things we can do to remain engaged during the upcoming presidential administration. Yesterday, we emphasized the importance of local and midterm elections. Finally, we spotlight social media.

For today: USE SOCIAL MEDIA. Online platforms can be incredibly useful for building community, holding leaders accountable, and voicing your opinions. On social media, you can publicly track leaders’ stances and promises, and you can find solidarity with others who share your concerns. Posts, stories, and tweets share breaking news, and you can make your voice heard in comment sections.

Social media is a great tool for sharing knowledge and staying connected to other people in the fight for racial justice. COC will continue to use social media to communicate with you, our members, as well as mobilize change nationwide. Join us as we #CommitToJustice in 2025 by clicking the link in our bio.
