We couldn’t have gotten this far without you! Together, with our #WinningJustice campaign, we’ve pushed prosecutors across the country to adopt practices that promote equity and make communities safer. Prosecutors have a critical role in shaping outcomes in the justice system, and with your help, we’ve made strides to ensure more fair processes for our community.

In Fulton County, Georgia, Color Of Change, alongside our coalition partners like Women on the Rise and SCHR, stopped the construction of a new $2B jail and lobbied for the local government to drop the population in the main facility, which was run down, overcrowded, and bug-infested. And in Chicago, we lobbied for the City Council to reject a decision that would move serious police misconduct cases from public process to private proceeding with limited oversight.

The criminal justice system has notoriously discriminated against Black people, which is why Color Of Change will continue to #CommitToJustice in this area in 2025. Click the link in our bio to learn more and get involved!
