## Caption

How would the guy who specs hundreds of new Porsches every year spec his own Porsche? Now we know. Here is how fnijim of Porsche Exchange built his personal Spyder RS.

Starting with paint to sample in South Sea Blue Metallic and the Weissach Package, the exterior design includes the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes with yellow calipers behind the forged aluminum wheels painted in silver. With the extensive exterior carbon fiber trim that is part of the Weissach Package, the front trunk was partially painted body color for additional contrast and the carbon fiber window triangle trim was added. He chose the matte black windshield frame as well so as to visually reinforce the open top nature of the Spyder RS. The LED headlights finish the menacing look of the front of the car.

You spend most of your time inside, so here we see a lot of attention to detail. The Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Extended Deviated Stitching Interior Package in Racing Yellow complements the yellow instrument needles and 12 o’clock marker on the Race-Tex steering wheel, as well as bringing the yellow of the PCCBs inside. The leather steering column casing, leather and Race-Tex dashboard end trims, leather and Race-Tex door trim package, leather inner door sill guards and the storage bin lid embossed with the Porsche Crest are all stitched in Racing Yellow. The upgraded BOSE surround sound system does its best to overcome the music from the air intake system, but nothing can compete with the Spyder RS from 6,000 to 9,000 RPMs. Two keys painted body color with a leather key pouch stitched in Racing Yellow was his last ask of the factory.

The final customizations were installed once the car arrived at Porsche Exchange. Kim from p1_designs helped perfect the full bucket seats by providing custom seat centers made of Sport-Tex in Black/White/Yellow with memory foam for enhanced long distance comfort. The keychain to match the seat centers is an elegant touch. The matte plastic front fender louvers were replaced with carbon fiber fender louvers by manthey_racing
