## Caption

Day 5, and one big “I told you so” from wiser minds about testing so early, but it’s really difficult to not feel hopeless and fixated on the lack of any trace of a second line — or worse, 45 minutes later, my eyes tricking me into thinking I see a hint of something in certain light and angles (wishful thinking and also after the window of test result accuracy).

I guess the silver lining is that at least on these lower sensitivity tests the hcg from the trigger shot is low enough in my system that it won’t produce a false positive (the First Response tests are too sensitive and are still likely to give me a faint false positive so I’m holding off on those!) 

Anyway, day 5 feelings are: deflated and disappointed and nervous and a bit regretful about this test and knowing that I’ll be obsessing about it from here on out.
