I’ve been waiting for the results from genetic testing and when I finally got the call, it felt like the floor was falling.

I’m very grateful to have one healthy embryo after all of this, and I don’t take that for granted, but for some reason I had it in my head that I was going to get different news. 

I’m fine- I’m just being honest about my reaction. I’m both relieved to be able to schedule a transfer attempt and devastated to know I only get one chance. I’m trying to remind myself to be grateful that I’ve spared myself from so many more certain pregnancy losses. 

Anyway, I promised to share updates in real time, so this is where we are: Today I’ll be sad about the results. Tomorrow I’ll try to get excited about a transfer attempt.
