"I started to get to know photography since secondary one when my mother finally allowed me to use our family camera, a Canon Ixus. She told me that the camera was very expensive and I should not touch it since I could remember. Mostly I used it during school picnics, sports days and other school activities. Unfortunately, it was broken three years later in my secondary four.

During that time, photography was becoming a popular hobby in Hong Kong. Some of my friends and classmates bought their first cameras like Canon DSLR and Fujifilm mirrorless. I got in the trend too by buying an Olympus Pen Lite E-PL7. I didn’t do any research, simply listen to the salesman and bought my personally first camera. After serval trips with it, I had found out that the quality of kit lens, resolution and optics of lens are not suiting my requirements. Although Olympus cameras are famous for their image stabilisation, I think that the image quality is not that good. After that, I sold my mirrorless and did my research, finding that DSLR Canon 77D suits me best. I soon bought it and fell in love with it straightly. I really adored its 18–135mm kit lens that it is super convenient to use during tours from wide to telephoto. I had shot thousands of photos with it with various subjects such as birds, animals, architecture, and landscape. I also bought the 10–18mm lens as it was very light and cheap. Its wide-angle was great for natural and urban sceneries. In conclusion, Canon 77D was a perfect camera for me that helped me to learn photography and built my hobby of taking photos." - Yin
