About my days in Lisbon 🇵🇹 

The last two days have been very efficient. We could see something from this beautiful city, I spoke at the websummit and we spend time with our friends from apex_cp We also took the time to record a podcast with them and thecrowncreators 

Speaking at the Web Summit was a new experience for me and I really liked to meet the many different people, from outside the sport world as well. 

In the first session I shared the stage with koenbosma siemdejong and migueldelaney and we talked about entrepreneurship and investing in sports and entertainment. And how this plays a role for me in my career and beyond. Athletes and the investment world are a powerful combination.

The other session was a Q&A together with _brittnnii and christinegz where we talked about mental health and how we are influencing our wellbeing throughout our life’s as athletes. Very good to see so many people engaging on this topic and asking us interesting questions. 

During our visit to the Apex CP office, we record a interesting podcast episode in the series Shaping Legends. We spoke about the build up of my career, the support network of people behind it, the growth of women’s cycling over the last years, our vision for women’s cycling and women’s sport in general and I shared some inside stories from last years letourfemmes 

All together, a very successful trip where I could meet a lot of interesting people, share visions and shape plans for the future.
