You need to hear Latorya Beasley’s story.

“Earlier this year, my dreams of growing my family were stopped dead in their tracks. I was sitting in my doctor’s office, a week before my embryo transfer, when I learned about the Alabama Supreme Court ruling that caused clinics to stop IVF. My doctor told me that despite preparing for this moment for months, we couldn’t proceed. Clinics across my state halted fertility services and families like mine across Alabama were thrown into disarray, our futures taken from us in an instant.

It was a devastating moment for our family—financially, physically, and emotionally. It was months before I could restart IVF and continue trying to grow my family. And I have faced physical consequences due to the delay.

Donald Trump is responsible for what happened in Alabama and what happened to me...

The decision if and when to start a family is personal. It is a fundamental right—one that belongs to us, not the government.

I am speaking out because the stakes could not be higher. What I’ve gone through has been painful. But I know that we need to vote to send Vice President Harris and Governor Walz to the White House, otherwise more women and communities across the country will suffer.

After months of waiting, I’m so happy to share that I am pregnant again. In February our family expects to bring home our beautiful baby girl and we are so thrilled. This feeling of excitement, of joy from being able to grow our family, is what I am fighting for, and what Vice President Harris is fighting for. It’s that simple.”
