At TKS, our Directors coach students on the importance of mindset and perspective when taking on challenges in life. When you focus on what you can control, there is always an action you can take to improve your position. When you focus on things you can’t control, you tend to paralyze yourself, unsure of what to do next. 

During a recent coaching call, TKS Director Aatik Chopra provides TKS Innovator Emmanuela Kumi with a safe space to share and seek guidance. Rather than focus on what she can’t control, like external identity and judgment, Aatik encourages Emmanuela to look at the situation in a different way, revealing that your attitude towards a problem is directly correlated to your ability to overcome said problem.
