Here’s a simple DIY potting soil recipe 🌱  2 parts coco coir or peat moss (I prefer coco coir because it doesn’t then hydropobic and it’s much more sustainable)  1 part perlite (or vermiculite if you’re making seed starting mix)  1 part compost (there are so many forms of compost but you’ll want something pretty balanced, not overly high in N or P)  That’s all you need for a base growing mix but I also like to add some worm castings and a handful of my own garden soil to encourage local microbes!  #seedstarting #soil #pottingmix #diy #tip #tips #recipe #helpful #garden #gardening #gardener #farm #farmer #educational #healthysoil #plant #plants #planting #plantslover #seed  #seeds #shilohfarm
