Barcelona is in touching distance of the UCL quarterfinals. After a 1-0 win in Portugal, they just need to finish the job at home. But knockout games always bring drama—can they keep Benfica from flipping the script? 

They’ve kicked off at Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. Time to lock in & cook up something special. 🔥

Recipe: Spanish Croquetas 

🥓 Ingredients:

4 tbsp unsalted butter
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 scant cup all-purpose flour
1 medium onion, finely diced
4 cups whole milk (room temp)
1 pinch nutmeg
8 oz Serrano ham, finely diced
2 beaten eggs
Flour & breadcrumbs for breading

Instructions:
1️⃣ Heat butter & oil in a pan over medium-high heat (2 min). Add onion & sauté until lightly golden. Sprinkle in salt & nutmeg.
2️⃣ Add diced ham & sauté (30 sec). Stir in flour, cooking until light brown. Keep stirring!
3️⃣ Gradually add milk, stirring constantly (15-20 min). Let cool.
4️⃣ Transfer dough to a buttered bowl, cover with plastic wrap (touching surface), and refrigerate for 4+ hours (overnight is best).
5️⃣ Shape croquettes into logs with spoons or a piping bag.
6️⃣ Heat olive oil in a pan. Coat croquettes in flour, egg, & breadcrumbs.
7️⃣ Fry until golden (5 min), turning halfway. Drain on paper towels & cool slightly.
8️⃣ Enjoy fresh with a glass of Cava! 🍾
