For a couple of years now our group text has been talking about going on a golf trip to Ireland. Well, it happened! So many people to thank for turning this trip into a reality. We will have a full breakdown of the entire trip on the thesmylieshow this Wednesday with cameos from justinthomas34 and jordanspieth! 

I reached out to golfbreaks during the early stages to ask about how they would go about planning a 13 man golf trip. I was given great guidance from the Golfbreaks team narrowing down a region and then proceeding to pick which courses to play. We eventually settled in on the Dublin region and we were fortunate to play theeuropeanclubgolf, theislandgolfclub, portmarnockgolfclub, and countylouthgolfclub! For the amount of days available to play, this made for the perfect golf trip.

golfbreaks and their team did a great job setting us up with a great transportation company ocallaghaneventtravel! We loved our driver Gavin! He provided first class service picking us up from airports, hotel, and golf courses the entire week. The quality of their service truly elevated our trip to another level! 

Staying at the trinitycity_hotel in downtown Dublin made it easy for us to commute to all 4 golf courses. The longest drive we had was to the European Club which was about an hour away. All other drives were 30 or so minutes away. The best part about staying at the trinitycity_hotel was the convenience of finishing a long golf day and being able to walk to restaurants/pubs. Dublin is such a walkable city so to be in a location that didn’t require us to taxi was a huge plus. A huge thanks to failteireland_intmedia for helping us get setup here!

With all of the crazy airport troubles people have been having traveling internationally… We didn’t want to risk losing our golf clubs so we decided to use the reliable shipsticks to make sure our clubs made it there safely. There was no better feeling landing in Dublin and having everyone’s clubs already loaded up on the bus. Big thanks to shipsticks for their help and great service!
