I was almost 3 years sober when my friend Tripp died of an overdosed. This June I will celebrate 18 years of sobriety. But I always think of Tripp and our friendship. I wrote this song as way of healing for myself. Tripp always jokingly laughed and called me the LUCKIEST SOB he knew. So I got to thinking on that. Doesn’t matter how long it’s been, he still with me. Hope this song helps someone. #luckyone #fyp #loss
