We think we learn lessons from previous storms like #Florence, #Matthew etc. We don't, while the forecast was always dire for massive inland flooding and wind. The way most media covers the run-up to tropical systems is always with 10 reporters on the coast and none inland. We give viewers the impression there's nothing to worry about inland, even when our meteorologists are saying the opposite. #Helene
