This spooky lesson is all about PLACE VALUE! 1...2...3... All eyes will be on your students as they master the art of constructing numbers or dive deep into the world of basic operations. 👀

Here’s what you will need:
🎃 Glow Googly Eyes (Ones)
🎃 Glow Sticks (Tens)
🎃 Glow Ice Cubes (Hundreds or Thousands) (make sure these are the brand that can be turned on and off and not the brand activated by water.)
🎃 Neon Index Cards Cut into Squares (Hundreds or Thousands)
🎃 Black lights optional if you want to really add the glow

Print off your place value mats based on your student’s place value level. Then you are ready to get to work. This lesson can expand and grow in so many different directions:

🎃 Building and constructing numbers
🎃 Addition with regrouping
🎃 subtraction
🎃 Use googly eyes to build arrays for multiplication and division
