The Department of Education and the Department of Justice have announced the formation of a Title IX special investigations team to address growing concerns over biological men competing in women's sports and the invasion of women-only intimate spaces.

The initiative comes in response to a significant number of complaints received by the agencies.

The team, comprising of attorneys and investigators from both departments, aims to swiftly address these issues and protect the rights of women and girls.

"Protecting women and women's sports is a key priority for this Department of Justice," said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. "This collaborative effort with the Department of Education will enable our attorneys to take comprehensive action when women's sports or spaces are threatened and use the full power of the law to remedy any violation of women's civil rights."

This comes Linda MCMahon sent Governor Gavin Newsom a letter threatening to cut budgets if he does not address transgender players in women's sports.
