## Caption

Children with autism and other disabilities experience the world through a different lens, and a new local organization is ensuring they have an Easter experience with that in mind.

Rooted Tuscaloosa, which got started at the end of 2024, provide an outlet for individuals with disabilities and special needs, and to help them thrive in a safe and encouraging environment. Liz Kindred is the co-founder of rooted Tuscaloosa.

They provide resources, classes and tools for families. One offer is a parenting workshop. The workshop is meant to equip parents with tools and provide information by having speakers on panels. While they don’t have a physical location, Rooted Tuscaloosa will be holding classes at the YMCA of Tuscaloosa beginning in April.
