Bibb County residents have been receiving calls of an individual impersonating law enforcement. 

According to Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade, the scammers are calling residents using the name Deputy Steven Scafford.

The scammers are requesting a call back and leaving a phone number that appears legitimate.

The Bibb County sheriff's office have confirmed the calls are fake and if you receive a suspicious call, report it to the sheriff's office.
