Here’s a friendly reminder to train those damn adductors!

TRAIN YOUR ADDUCTORS: Often forgotten with MORE attention paid to the glamour muscles like quads and glutes and hamstrings the adductors actually make about almost 23% of the upper leg and are major contributors to knee and hip stability.

Three major takeaways from adductor strengthening:

Stability
Strong adductors help stabilize the pelvis and hips, which can help prevent injuries and maintain proper alignment during movement. This is especially important for activities that involve shifting weight from one leg to the other, like running, jumping, and squatting.

Balance
Adductors help maintain balance, especially during activities that involve shifting weight from one leg to the other.

Mobility
Adductors contribute to hip strength and mobility, which can help you maintain mobility as you age. Strong hips are also important for sports performance and injury prevention. For example, in sports like baseball, softball, golf, hockey, and tennis, strong adductors can help you hit farther and throw harder by controlling pelvic rotation

Hope this helps!

Let me know which ones are takeaways for you from this post!
