Making money as a dog content nano influencer has been a wild (and rewarding) learning experience.

When I first started sharing my pup online, I had no idea this could become something more than just cute videos and funny captions. I definitely didn’t expect to turn it into a side hustle—but here we are.

Truth is: I learn something new every single day. From how to pitch to brands, to understanding affiliate links, figuring out video trends, navigating contracts, negotiating rates, creating UGC, and yes—even knowing when to say no.

It is not always easy or perfect—but that’s what makes it real. Some days, it’s a win. Some days, it’s just me, my dog, and a camera that won’t focus. But every post, every collab, every try is progress. 

Here are a few ways I’ve started earning:

• Affiliate marketing
• UGC (content I create for brands to use)
• TikTok Lives + subscribers
• Ambassador contests

Being a nano influencer means growing in public. And honestly? I’m proud of how far we’ve come—and excited for what’s ahead.

If you’re just starting out, don’t stress about being perfect. Just start, stay curious, and keep showing up.
