1.Early Beginnings (Before 1800s):
The concept of photography started with the camera obscura — a dark room or box with a small hole that projected an inverted image of the outside scene onto a surface.
However, it couldn’t "fix" the image, so the projection was temporary.

2.The First Photographs (1800s):
1826/27: Joseph Nicéphore Niépce created the first permanent photograph, called View from the Window at Le Gras, using a process called heliography with bitumen on a metal plate.
1839: Louis Daguerre developed the daguerreotype — the first practical photographic process, using silver-plated copper sheets and mercury vapor to produce highly detailed images.
The same year, William Henry Fox Talbot invented the calotype — the first negative-positive process, allowing multiple copies of an image to be made.

3.Development and Popularization (Mid-to-Late 1800s):
1851: The collodion process allowed for quicker exposure times and sharper images, but it required the plate to be developed immediately.
1888: George Eastman revolutionized photography by introducing the Kodak camera — a handheld device preloaded with film, making photography accessible to the general public. His slogan: "You press the button, we do the rest."

4.The Rise of Film Photography (1900s):
1913: The first 35mm camera was developed by Oskar Barnack of Leica, paving the way for modern photojournalism and compact cameras.
1948: Edwin Land invented the Polaroid camera, producing instant photographs — a major leap in convenience and creativity.
Color photography gained popularity after Kodachrome film was introduced in 1935, though experiments with color dated back to the 1800s.

5.Digital Photography (Late 1900s – Early 2000s):
1975: The first digital camera was invented by Steven Sasson at Kodak — a clunky device that captured black-and-white images at a resolution of 0.01 megapixels.
1990s: Digital cameras became commercially available, leading to the decline of traditional film photography

6.Modern Era (2000s–Present):
