"I fell in love with UC San Diego the first time I visited the campus after being accepted. Initially, I was overwhelmed by how large the campus was. However, as I toured the campus and discovered the unique characteristics each part of campus held, I slowly began envisioning how I would spend my next four years making the most out of UCSD.

From cramming for finals in the quiet study rooms in Galbraith to watching the sunsets on top of Rady, every experience you have is unique to your journey at UCSD. Additionally, UCSD has a community for everyone. Whether it's your roommates from the first year, the student you randomly sit next to during an 8am lecture, or the people you meet from one out of UCSD's hundreds of organizations, you are bound to find the people whom you will soon call lifelong friends!

Surrounding UCSD is a plethora of landscapes, shops, and adventures that are sure to amaze you. My favorite places include Mount Soledad, Tacos el Gordo, CAVA, Moniker General, and Torrey Pines State Beach. While UCSD is known for its academic rigor, the true challenge is balancing being a good student with being able to get out of your comfort zone to explore an entirely new city with unbeatable sunsets! Calling UCSD my home is a privilege I will carry for the rest of my life!"
