Our Blue Death Feigning Beetles are not to be missed! Found in the Southwestern United States and Northern Mexico, these beetles are desert dwellers. Featured in our newest exhibit, Legacies: Invertebrates of Mexico, these beetles are known for playing dead. Rolling over on their backs in the presence of predators, they discourage the animals that prefer live prey. Come visit them now by visiting butterflies.org.
