César Augusto Riera Portillo is part of the third cohort of Young Agripreneurs, a training program by Nestlé Needs YOUth. Through his participation in the program, he has received training and support to develop his own entrepreneurship, which has become a source of income for him and his family. César is from Zulia state, Venezuela, an area renowned for the quality of its cocoa, where the Nestlé Cocoa Plan works hand in hand with local producers to promote the development of this sector.

The Nestlé Cocoa Plan was launched in 2009 and has worked with close to 180,000 cocoa-farming families so far, building on our three pillars: 
 
•	Better farming, aiming to improve livelihoods in communities. 
•	Better lives, aiming to improve social conditions for families. 
•	And better cocoa, aiming to improve product sustainability.
