Jamaica’s double World Champion, Danielle Williams, kicked off her pursuit of the US$100,000 prize at the Grand Slam Track meet in Kingston on Saturday. Williams finished second in the Women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 12.70, narrowly behind American Tia Jones, who clocked 12.63. Reflecting on her performance, Williams said, “I am one of the best in the world, so I expect to face the best every time I line up.”
