California Dreamin. We’d longed to see the USWNT at SoFi Stadium ever since it opened its doors. With its cathedral-like ceiling, expansive views, and state-of-the-art tech, it’s one of those grounds that seems reserved for grand moments. When the sun peers through those cavernous glass windows, you could swear you’ve stepped into a proper Hollywood production. It’s picture perfect. That’s how it felt for all the 32,303 souls who witnessed the first-ever women’s pro sporting event at that ground. And the stars rose to the occasion. trinity_rodman only needed five minutes to get a goal in her return to the squad, lindseyhoran10 added a second for good measure, and phallon dazzled everyone with a dream debut between the sticks for the USWNT. Oh, and the hybrid grass system that will be used for the 2026 World Cup? It made a cameo too. Only in LA.
