In 2006 Del Rey, then known as Lizzy Grant met Van Wilson, an A&R for 5 Points Records in Brooklyn which led to a $10K deal.

Her viral “Video Games” in 2011 got her a deal w Interscope Records followed by her album “Born To Die” in 2012
