## Caption

May is nationally recognized as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, but at SU celebrations have already begun.

The kickoff took place in the Schine Student Center on Tuesday, featuring tables from a variety of campus organizations related to AAPI students. The month’s theme is “Mosaic of Memories.”

“Much like our identities made up of fragmented yet meaningful experiences, stories of immigration, adaptation and resilience, each of us carries pieces of our history, ” Pallas Hoffman, a designer for the event, said.
