Why are Republicans calling Gov. Tim Walz “Tampon Tim”?

A bill Walz signed last year requires schools to stock bathrooms with free menstrual products, including tampons and pads, for all students in grades 4 to 12.

Within hours of Kamala Harris announcing Walz as her running mate, Republicans began attacking the governor over his support for the bill.
