Paige Bueckers called it! UCONN won its 12th National Title in the Geno Auriemma era.

I do owe this Uconn team an apology, they were losing games early in this season that they shouldn’t have and couldn’t get it together. This team was a prime example of everything clicking at the right time. The big 3 of Paige, Azzi and Sarah was far too much for anyone in this year’s tournament.

Dawn Staley called out some media narratives that seemed forced, including some about Paige. But when it comes to superstar players there are certain ones that are just going to have that affect. Caitlin Clark being one who had that at an astronomical level.

Do you guys think Dawn Staley’s comments were justified? And will Geno Auriemma actually call it quits? Let me know what you guys think in the comments!
