That was part of the student homily today delivered by Evan Mitskovski ’26 as part of our Service For and With Others Mass in Scaccia Auditorium, celebrated by President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J.

Mitskovski’s homily centered on the service he was a part of an immersion trip to Puerto Rico earlier this year.
 
The trip is part of the CHS Companions Program, in which juniors respond to the Ignatian call to service by traveling abroad to serve communities in need during school breaks. A group will be traveling to Mexico next week.
 
Students participating in today’s Mass included Elliott DeRose ’26 (First Reading, from the Book of Daniel), Nazariy Drofych ’26 (Responsorial Psalm) and Lucas Bonilla ’26 and Matthew Murad ’26 (Prayers of the Faithful). The crossbearer was Tyler Bridge ’25; candlebearers were Connor Jackson ’26 and Kayden Wayne ’26.

Students serving as Eucharistic Ministers were: Massimo Ciccarelli ’25, Augustus Falvo ’25, Dylan Leong ’25, Jack Riley ’25, David Romanovich ’25.
 
Performing during the Mass from our Fine Arts Department were the chorus and guitar ensembles.

The concelebrants were Director of Campus Ministry Fr. Chuck Frederico, S.J., and Assistant to the President Fr. Richard Zanoni, S.J.
