WSF’s “Thriving Through Sport” found that access to sports remains a hurdle with girls of color who are significantly less likely to play sport.

Since 2014, WSF’s Sports 4 Life — co-founded with ESPNCitizenship and supported by Gatorade — has increased access to sports for underserved girls of color and helped them build leadership, confidence, self-esteem and perseverance to succeed both on and off the field of play.
