In a thought-provoking sit-down with the Jamaica Observer’s Dre Skeen at the mg.jamaica showroom, Jesse reflects on the early influences that shaped his journey — from choir practice with one grandmother to the strength and faith of his other grandmother, a hardworking pastor and matriarch.

Now a proud father, Jesse opens up about the delicate balance between being a present parent and a full-time musician.

With his third studio album on the way, the Rich Forever artiste remains humble in the face of fame: “Mi nuh reach. Reach weh? Mi have a long, long way to go.”
