There are many misconceptions when it comes to real estate, especially for new home buyers. 

Myth: 20% down payment is required. 

Fact: Down payments can be as low as 3.5% for a FHA loan. And better yet, those who qualify for VA loan can actually put 0% down. 

Myth: Hiring a realtor to buy a home is expensive. 

Fact: A real estate agent is FREE to buyers. The seller pays commission for both the listing agent and the buyers agent.
