Kristal Turner-Childs has dedicated most of her life to serving the Harrisburg community and doesn’t have any plans to stop in retirement. After 25 years, Turner-Childs retired in 2023 as deputy commissioner for the Pennsylvania State Police. She was the first Black woman to reach that rank — the second-highest in the agency.🚨
