Did you know that the rotary snowplough was invented in Ontario? 🌨️ 

Thanks to an Ontario dentist named Dr. J.W. Elliott, Canadian railway systems were able to provide safe and regular railway travel during winter after Elliott designed the first rotary snowplough motor in 1869. Due to a lack of investors, the machinery wasn't properly invented until Orange Jull, another Ontario resident, improved upon the design and built it. Today, updated versions of the snowplough are used across the country to help combat harsh weather and ensure the safety of railway travel in Canada. #OntarioInnovation
