For the meatballs 
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
1/4 cup finely minced shallots or onion
1 egg
3 Tablespoons minced parsley
3 cloves garlic, minced or 1 teaspoon 
garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
Black pepper, to taste
Oil or oil spray, for coating meatballs

For serving
tomato sauce, bread or pasta
