## Caption

As a dreamer and storyteller, artist and filmmaker rossmcdonnell created this billboard in Los Angeles to illuminate the stories of migration that have yet to be told.

Titled “DREAM,” his contribution to #ForFreedoms and  silkroadproject’s collaborative project channeled the historical legacy of Irish immigrants who worked on the Transcontinental Railroad, as well as present migratory experiences at the U.S. and Mexico border.

We remember Ross and his enduring artwork that recognizes the shared dreams, aspirations, and struggles that connect people across both time and geography. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends as we mourn the loss of a brilliant artist who has inspired all of us to DREAM in his memory.
