🚩 Red flags galore when choosing a dog trainer! 

Credentials matter 🐾. Saying, “I’ve trained dogs my whole life” isn’t enough—I’ve had a brain my whole life, but that doesn’t make me a neurosurgeon 🧠✂️.

Biggest red flag? Trainers projecting their ego onto your dog’s behavior. “Oh, the dog’s trying to get you!” 🤦‍♀️ Let’s not assume we know exactly what dogs are thinking—body language speaks louder than words. 👀🐶

Dogs are brilliant creatures who want to be with us ❤️. They’ll adapt to our rules, even when those rules make no sense to them (or to a dog lover like me on the outside looking in).🐕
