Fall is typically a happy, magical time of year full of smiles and bright, vibrant color. But for the mountains surrounding Asheville its anything but this year. Aside from the historic flood, hurricane Helene took a buzz saw to the top of the mountains and forever chanfed the landscape with its extremely high winds and caused catastrophic damage near the blue ridge parkway
