## Caption

There's a common misconception that "small" or "thin" tornadoes are not as strong as the big, bad wedge tornadoes you see online. This tornado that impacted homes near Hawley, TX was rated a high end EF3 with winds over 160mph. Had it moved over town I have 0 doubt this tornado would have been rated an EF4. So much dynamic piping going on in such a thin, but robust tornado!
