Once upon a time I had a non-profit organization reach out to ask me if I’d do a setup for them for free.

But before the woman could ask me outright about giving her thousands worth of free services, she made sure to tell me that she “thinks my little balloon business is so cute!” She then told me that for my little balloon business this could be the perfect opportunity to market to the “best” clients.

That organization didn’t end up getting my services for free…

Moral of the story? Don’t let other people dictate your worth. They’re allowed to be wrong about you, my dear.
